In my previous post, I promised to share with you the actual status of writing the book, HOW TO SHARI’AH-COMPLIANTLY INVEST IN THE PHILIPPINE STOCK MARKET: BEGINNER’S STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE, during the fifth week (May 2-5, 2022).
May 2-3 (Monday-Tuesday) – I took these two days for ‘Id al-Fitr vacation; so, no book writing during that time.
May 4 (Wednesday) – During this day, I was able to draft two pages of the book (pp. 94-95). It can be recalled that it was the day of resuming my writing of the book after a month-long break (April 2022).
May 5 (Thursday) – During this day, I was again able to draft just two pages (pp. 96-97).
In sum, during the fifth week of writing (May 2-5), I was only able to draft four pages instead of the 15-page target. That shortcoming was partly due to the 2-day vacation I took (May 2-3) and the adjustment brought by the one-month-long break from writing.
