As a self-publishing author and translator, here is a sort of my status report for the first quarter of 2022 (January-March):

1. 27 Books Published and Distributed Online and Offline

At least 27 of my written and translation works are published in both paperback and eBook and distributed online via ElziStyle online shop (www.elzistyle.com), Amazon, Smashwords, Draft2Digital, and Lazada, as well as offline via ElziStyle brick-and-mortar bookshop.

We have also been able to publish locally ‘MBAYUKA TANU! MAGUINDANAON BAYUK TRANSCRIPTION, TRANSLATION, AND ANNOTATION, https://amzn.to/3uJMjLH, on February 13 and to formally launch it on March 11. 

So far, within 2 weeks only, at least 100 copies of it were already distributed. And if this trend continues, the book will become a bestseller, insha’ Allah.

3. Currently Writing 1 Book

On March 1, we have also started writing our next book, HOW TO SHARI’AH-COMPLIANTLY INVEST IN THE PHILIPPINE STOCK MARKET: STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE, and we have been able to write 93 pages of the book, surpassing our target of writing 60 pages. We will resume next month (May) and by the end of June, we hope to finish writing it and get it published, insha’ Allah.
