As soon as I received ElziStyle Bookshop’s business permit on January 20, 2022, I told myself, “Our target is to publish one title a month.”
Ambitious as it was, the first year (2022) ended with eight published titles. “The stated target was not yet achieved, but not bad for a start,” I would console myself.
The following year (2023) saw the lowest output—only two titles were published.
Last year (2024) was slightly better, with three titles, yet still far from the goal of 12 books in a year.
However, the publication and launch of “BARMM Barangay Justice System Training Manual” in January and “Cracking the Shari’ah Code” (https://bit.ly/ShariahCode) last month (February) seem to signal something promising for 2025.
Next month (March), we plan to locally publish “Liqa’ Allah: A Treatise on the Stages of Mystical Wayfaring toward the Station of Beatific Vision” (https://amzn.to/3QD0pIm).
This will be followed in April by Prof. Christopher Ryan Maboloc’s latest book, “The Politics of Peace and the Bangsamoro Question: Tracing the Roots of a Historical Injustice”.
Mission – 12 published books this year…
…By the will of the Lord of the Pen.
